Do you love gardening, or want some gardening inspiration? Join us for a weekend of gardening fun on various topics, and enjoy the bounty from Willow Springs. The weekend will be tailored to participant interests and what is producing at Willow Springs. August is apple and grape harvest time, so plan on some apple/grape activities (sauce, butter, juice, dehydrated). You’ll take home what we produce!
Potential topics include: permaculture garden tour, gardening topics of participant interest, food preservation (canning, dehydrating, pickling, fermenting), kombucha making, herbal medicine making, growing medicinal and culinary herbs.
Morning Garden Time/harvesting
Afternoon at Yuba River or inside lodge
Evening activities spa / bonfire
